Best People: 4.5x the recruiting capacity, with no new recruiters
- Industry
- recruitment
- What we built
- AI sourcing, candidate scoring and outreach, with every message approved by a recruiter
- Result
- 4.5x the capacity and a $2.2M revenue path, without hiring a single new recruiter

The problem
Best People's recruiters were each managing their placements by hand. About 90% of their time went on manual research, CRM updates and outreach coordination. Only about 10% was actual recruiting.
Growing meant hiring more recruiters, and the margins wouldn't support it. Revenue was capped by how many people they could afford, not by how much demand was out there.
What we found
The real limit was screening volume. One recruiter can only properly evaluate so many candidate profiles in a day, and everything else (outreach, follow-ups, CRM updates) queued up behind that. More recruiters would only have moved the same limit to a bigger payroll.
What we built
- A system, running on n8n workflows connected to a custom CRM, that scanned more than 10,000 profiles a day against the roles they were filling
- AI scoring and filtering, so recruiters only saw candidates worth their time
- Personalized outreach and follow-ups, drafted by AI and approved by a recruiter before anything was sent
- Reply sorting into four groups (interested, not interested, neutral, other), so the interested ones got answered first
The result
- 4.5x the capacity from the same team
- A $2.2M revenue path that wasn't reachable before
- No new recruiters hired
The recruiters' days shifted from research and admin to talking to candidates and clients, which is the part of the job only they can do.
"Before Storm helped with automation, the task I was doing was basically unscalable. Now the systems are in place I can actually grow the business."

Could this work for your team?
If your recruiters spend most of the week on research, admin and chasing, the same approach applies. See how automation for recruiters works, or book a call and we'll look at where your team's time goes.
