AI agents for business

Custom AI agents for business, each built to own one job from start to finish.

An AI agent should take a real piece of work off your team: reading the new lead, checking the CRM, drafting the reply and putting it in front of a person to approve. We build agents like that, one job at a time, on your own data and tools.

One agent per task, not one agent for everything

The pitch you'll hear a lot is one clever AI assistant that runs your whole business. In practice, that's where things go wrong. An agent with access to everything, doing a bit of everything, is hard to test, hard to trust and easy to break. We build the opposite. Each agent owns one input and one output, end to end:

  • A new lead arrives, and the agent researches it, drafts the first reply and alerts the right salesperson
  • A document arrives, and the agent reads it, pulls out the details and files it against the right client
  • A deal changes stage, and the agent updates the CRM, drafts the next email and tells the team
  • The month ends, and the agent pulls the numbers and writes the client report

How they run

Agents start on their own when something happens in your business. Nobody has to remember to run them. Anything that goes to a customer or changes a record waits for a person to approve it first.

Capabilities

What AI agents for business can actually do

  • Read emails, forms, documents, call transcripts and messages
  • Look things up in your CRM, calendar, project tool or database
  • Make a decision you've defined, like urgent or routine, qualified or not, which client this belongs to
  • Draft replies, summaries, reports and proposals in your voice
  • Update records and notify the right people in Slack or email
  • Hand anything unusual to a person instead of guessing
Security

Agents that are safe to run

Generic AI agents with broad access to a business are a real security risk. Research covered on our channel found more than 30,000 exposed agent setups online.

So every agent we build gets only the access its one job needs, runs inside your accounts and keeps a log of what it did.

What we've built

01

A 13-agent roadmap for a marketing agency

We mapped a US agency's whole operation, sized 13 agents into a phased plan ordered by what each would save, and built the first: a reporting agent that matched 4,571 records to 57 clients and turns real delivery data into client-ready decks. Read the 13-agent case study

02

Recruiting outreach at Best People

Agents scanned more than 10,000 profiles a day, scored candidates and drafted personalized outreach, with recruiters approving every message. The result was 4.5x the capacity, with no new hires. Read the Best People case study

03

An inbox agent at The Technical Traders

An agent reads every incoming email and posts a draft reply to Slack in under 10 seconds for approval. That gave the founder 15+ hours a week back. Read The Technical Traders case study

The build

How we build a custom AI agent

  1. 1
We pick the job. We start with the one that costs your team the most time, which is usually where Agent OS starts too.
  2. 2
We define it tightly: what starts it, what it reads, what it's allowed to do and what "done right" looks like.
  3. 3
We test models on your real data. We try OpenAI, Claude, Gemini and others, score each against known correct answers and use whichever wins for each step.
  4. 4
We build it into your tools, with an approval step in Slack or wherever your team works.
  5. 5
We run it alongside your team before it handles anything on its own.
  6. 6
We keep it improving. Models change every few months, and on a retainer we upgrade them for you.

Questions

About AI agents.

It's software that uses AI to do a defined piece of work on its own when something happens, like a new lead, an email or a document arriving. It reads the information, checks your systems, decides what to do within rules you've set, and drafts the output for a person to approve.

A chatbot answers questions when someone types to it. An agent does work: it starts itself when something happens, uses your tools and data, and produces something finished, like a reply, an update or a report.

The phrase is mostly marketing. What's real is an agent that takes one job off a person's plate reliably. Stack enough of those together and your team's capacity changes, which is what people usually mean.

It's a set of AI agents that each own one recurring job, working alongside your team. In practice you build it one agent at a time. For one marketing agency we sized 13 agents into a phased plan, ordered by what each would save, and built the reporting agent first.

For a simple, low-risk job you can, with no-code tools like n8n, Make or Zapier. Start with one job, a clear trigger and a person checking the output. Custom AI agent development is worth it when the agent has to work across several of your systems, touch customers or records, or run reliably without anyone watching it.

It depends on the job and what it connects to. We charge a fixed fee per build, agreed before we start. For typical market prices, see our guide on what AI automation costs.

A single focused agent usually takes two to four weeks to build and test.

Yes. They're built in your accounts, and they keep running if we part ways.
